FISHING IN ADRASAN
FISHING IN ADRASAN
In Adrasan one of the activities that you will enjoy yourself a lot is to catch various types of fishes at various sizes that you have never seen before, in the abundant waters of Mediterranean. We are sure that you are going to live the most exciting and beautiful moments while fishing with fishing line with us. You won't be able to think anything else while you are catching the main types of fishes that are special to our region. The ones who are interested in fishing know that this is the best thing to deal with stress. While you are waiting for fishes to be caught up by your line, you will watch the marvelous beauties, hills and bays of Adrasan.
When you feel the force of the fish at the end of your fishing line and start to combat to catch it, you will find out how the real struggle is. The pleasure of pulling the fishes onto your boat will remain as the best moments of your holiday. Are you ready for a natural and pleasurable struggle with the fishing methods special to our region?
It is possible to find each kind of fish in Adrasan waters. Some of the delicious fishes found in Adrasan are: Leer fish, amberjack, greater amberjack, sea bream, sword fish, red gurnard, chub mackerel, grouper, red porgy, little tunny, Atlantic bonito, skipjack tuna, barracuda, brush teeth lizardfish, garfish and sea breams. Besides, Grida fish, special to Mediterranean is also very delicious. At the points where rivers meet the sea, sea bass and chub can be found especially in winters.
Which kinds of fishes can be found in Adrasan? The fishes you will like caching according to seasons are: leer fish, amberjack, dogtooth grouper, sea breams, albacore, Atlantic bonito, skipjack tuna, barracuda (brush teeth lizardfish), sea bass and garfish. Leer fish, amberjack and dogteeth grouper will carry you away.
What is the method of fishing? We set off for fishing early in the morning. First we catch Atlantic bonito, horse mackerel or garfish with the Rapalas you have or we give you. And in the meantime we have our breakfast accompanied by the unique landscape of Adrasan and drink our coffees or tees. We catch fishes with back pulling method until we find the suitable crib fishes. We go on like this until 9 o'clock. When we find the suitable crib fishes, without paying attention to what time it is we start to catch leer fish and Amberjack with our big fishing lines using these crib fishes as alive baits.
On the basis of our past experiences, we wait for the excellent moment when the fishes meet with our fishing lines in the right hunting areas. If you are lucky and there is plenty of leer fish on that day, it is impossible to describe the joy and excitement you will have. Your struggle at the moment will remain as one of the unforgettable memories you have. Of course this is not the only method for fishing, we have other methods depending on the season, day, kinds of fish and region especially to catch barracuda and sea bream. The main goal of our fishing tours is to catch big fishes as leer fishes and amberjacks.
We go fishing tours with our small fibre boat and the boat of Deep fishing as a team. If the number is higher than normal, we rent a bigger boat in addition to ours.
Deep fishing will make your moments unforgettable thanks to their experiences. Maybe you will catch the biggest fish in your life in these waters.
Let’s go fishing, let’s live the unforgettable moments...

ADRASAN
Adrasan (Çavuşköy) is 95 km far away from Antalya. You can arrive at Adrasan after traveling for about one and half an hour. Adrasan is committed to Antalya’s town Kumluca and it became a municipality in 1996. It has an interesting bay covered by pines. Adrasan takes opposite wind by land to sea and thus in years when the wind power was dominant, sailing boats couldn't enter this bay and they established civilization on Olympos, Phaselis and other Antalya harbors.
The name of Adrasan comes from Greek and the town is also known as Çavuş village. Bay’s ground, leaning its back to the Bey Mountains is sandy and its sea is shallow and there aren't any highway in the surrounding. It is full of interesting and natural excellences. For those who are interested in water sports, this place is also a unique circuit. The temperature of sea water is high and season lasts for too long. Its see meets the requirements of underwater photographer with a clear underwater visibility range of 29 meters.
Adrasan's closed bay has a vast and long beach. You can get into sea from wherever you want. Opposite the bay, Eliğ of the Musa Mountain attracts attention with its silhouette resembling a camel. Markis hill is situated at the entrance of the bay. If you climb up through the forest from the either side of the bay, you will see how aesthetic is the bay. If you are interested in environmental trips, you should also visit Olympos, the antique city, Yanartaş, fire never burning out in the mythological mountain and the nearest touristical sights: Çıralı, Kaş, Demre, Myra, Patara, Xantos, Phaselis and Antalya.
With its bay, river and surrounding, Adrasan has an atmosphere which you will not want to leave. It’s the right place for a real vacation. While Antalya is crowded, hot and hectic, you will find peace and stillness in Adrasan, which is only at a 100 km distance from Antalya.
Exit the Antalya-Kaş highway and drive down for 22 km to reach Adrasan. Even if the plane tree at the entrance of the municipality does not attract our attention, you will enter a quite different world while drawing near to the sea parallel to Adrasan River on your left. If the ones who set off in the morning reaches the town after it gets dark, this is even more interesting.
While the river side is used for vehicle traffic, car parking facility; you pass to the other side where our premise is located via the chain bridge which is similar to the Istanbul Bosphorus Bridge system. Strip bulbs lined up to show the design of both the bridge and the facility creates a different atmosphere.
The hotels and pensions are located in the right side of the bay, this is also the point where the second street joins. There are trekking tracks for those, interested in environment and walking. Between Mavikent and Gelidonya, you can see the charming Oturak Bay and its shore and beach, famous for being the calmest harbour even when the sea is stormy.
If you go further from Karaöz you will find the Papaz İskelesi Bay, serving as for the day picnic area with pine trees. On the other side, the beach that reaches Finike with a length of 25 km in Mavikent, the largest shoreline of Antalya with , has a bright future.
Among the activities organized in Adrasan, the students and the tourists who are enrolled in diving school can attend the diving courses. Groups dive into a depth of 25-30 m everyday in the Üçadalar, Pırasalı Island and Sulu Island locations and students are awarded with a diving certificate at the end of courses. While, the vessels approaching the Papaz Bay, delivers the fishes they have caught to Reis Fisheries Firm, other amateur fishers can catch bigger fishes with their fishing lines or harpoons in the rocky locations.

FALL WEATHER
This colourful collage, a mixture of various leaves corralled beside a dock, not only captures the different colours that have changed and fallen but also reveals the weather, displaying the raindrops from a recent shower. The first day of fall was another day of rainfall, like much of September has been with still more wet weather predicted.

THE BOATWORKS
A propellor serves as a doorhandle giving new meaning to when it's propped open. The door leads to the service area of The Boatworks Limited, a partnership of seven cottagers that bought the business and is currently expanding it. The original company was famous for its line of Seabird boats and their motto "Safe, Swift, Serviceable."

WILL DONE
A lot of money and effort were put into rolling out the series of new standardized signs, erected at all the town entrances and trailheads across Muskoka Lakes Township, a project supported by the federal government's G8 Legacy Infrastructure Fund. They should have put a little more effort into proofreading this sign, and correcting its typo.

THE RED GREEN SHOW
This title is a double reference to the colourful combination of the maple leaves in the foreground and to the Ferndale Lookout Tower, used during the filming of seasons 3-6 of The Red Green Show with the lonely Ranger Gord. Built in the 60's for the Ferndale Resort, it's no longer accessible to the public and the site now private property.

Random Family Pictures in Provence // Seillans Village
Thank you everyone for the love. I don't have a final decision yet. It's not a bad idea to post once a month, twice a month, or whenever I have time, as many readers suggested. I know for sure, though, that I won't close the blog. It'll be there for you and me as a great memory. I actually learn a lot from the blogworld. You all are my inspiration. You show me the sweetness, the honest heart, and care for people. I truly feel like I know you more and more through your comments in each post. I feel like you all are my friends that I can share everything. It's one of the great feelings in life. Now on with the blog!
Now, look at my big girl! I can see her growing up to be a fine young lady. She's sweet, thoughtful child. She loves reading and science. I'm very proud of her. Love!
Here is my little girl. She's easy going, sweet, and humorous. She loves drawing and wants to be an artist when she grows up. She loves numbers and think that numbers is easy for her. It's nice to hear that :) Oh, she also loves the camera. She makes my day delightful :) Yes, she loves to eat- healthy food.
They are my sunshine :) I'm very proud to be their mom.
With my nephew and his fiance.

We love to play games and make up our own games to play on our trips. It's a great way to entertain the kids while waiting. It's fun. We laugh...Sweet memories! Smelling-game was made up, because there was rosemary and lavender everywhere at our hotel in Provence. We closed our eyes to smell and tell.
The kids and me at Fayence village.
At the hotel.
I wanted to bring this wild cat home from Seillans village, although I'm not a cat person. I love her all white hair, just beautiful.
We went to Seillans village for dinner when we stayed in Provence. Seillans village is a small village. It has small, narrow, up-down hill allies like the rest of old villages in Europe. One thing about it,there are a lot of beautiful wild cats here. I mean a lot! It has two beautiful restaurants in middle of the village with a very romantic setting. The one that we dined is called La Gloire de Mom Pere. It has a star in the Guide Michelin 2010. The food was absolutely delicious. There was a charming old guy playing violin that was a perfect romantic touch for the evening.

MORNING MIST
With the recent cool weather at nights the mornings bring mist on the lakes, gradually lifting with the emerging sun. As the curtain is raised Edith and Wasan Islands appear, two of several islands that make up the Venetia Group, while between them in the background The Rosseau can be seen perched above the lake on a granite bluff.
